Backpack Purses Backpack Purses Make a ComebackEvery year around tax return time I diligently make a trip to the mall with the sole intention of finding a new purse. It has been seven years since my venture was successful and I have been toting around the same black, leather, shoulder bag for all these years. This year rendered the same results and as I was resting on a mall bench, feeling defeated and watching shoppers walk by, I noticed a trend unfolding. Fewer women were struggling with their purse straps. Young mothers weren’t juggling diaper bags with handbags. Instead, they had everything neatly tucked into one, multipurpose bag that was not only trendy but practical. They looked very convenient with their sling back straps and a multitude of different pockets and compartments built right in. A ray of hope trickled through my brain as I realized that backpack purses were making a comeback!When I think of a backpack, the image that comes to mind is one of students cramming their schoolbooks and supplies into a book bag and slinging it onto their shoulders for a trek across campus. This type of backpack is purely functional, but when you take that functionality and add to it a stylish design, you get a purse that is not only sensible, but stylish as well. I excitedly dove in with a newfound confidence that I would finally find the answer to my ongoing dilemma. After investigating the numerous selections in purse styles I focused my attention on my original attraction. Along with the convenience of the sling back straps, each backpack bag is equipped with a roomy main compartment as well as several small compartments that can be designated for any essential that you don’t want to waste time digging around for. Each compartment and front closure is either zippered or secured with a snap and is made to compliment the appearance of the bag, which was everything I was looking for. The beauty of the backpack bag is its versatility, going from a day pack to a designer evening bag with ease. It can be used while camping as a camping bag or is perfect as carry-on luggage when flying. There are also men’s luggage bags available, usually made of genuine leather that will come in either black or brown. Backpack bags for kids are also popular, with designs for little girls such as a pink, quilted lining or even their favorite cartoon character on the outside. Whatever the style, you can find a bag to fit your budget from expensive designer bags to cheap or discounted bags. I am now the proud owner of a purse that meets and exceeds all of my needs and with the convenience of internet shopping, I have shoes and accessories to match! My yearly trek to the mall is now history, thanks to this one, fabulous discovery and my complete satisfaction with my new backpack handbag.
