A handbag is nowdays usually functional and designed with fashion in mind.
Most commomly it is used to hold a number of items such as a wallet, keys, and tissues.
There are many styles of handbags: Purses are traditionally worn as an accessory by ladies,
though men sometimes carry one as a smaller alternative to a backpack; such a Purse is sometimes
self-consciously described as a "murse" or "manbag". It can also be bluntly called a
"man-purse".
A medium-to-small-sized bag with a short handle, designed to be carried (clutched) in one's hand
is often called a Clutch. A larger Purse with two handles, is often referred to as a Tote.
A Pocketbook is similar to a Purse (in the British English sense), but allows the carrying of
sheets of paper as well. Purses are also made-up of zari, sterling silver, leather, cloth etc.
A security Purse is great to protect styles-one from travel theft. The purse makes use of an
invisible stainless steal strap within the material and a top on the part where the zipper is.
