A handbag is nowdays usually functional and used as a fashion accessory.
Most commomly it is used to hold a number of items such as a wallet, keys, and tissues.
Some different handbag types: Purses are normally carried by women, though men sometimes carry
one as a smaller alternative to a backpack; such a Purse is sometimes self-consciously called a
"murse" or "manbag". It can also be bluntly called a "man-purse".
A medium-to-small-sized bag with a short handle, designed to be carried (clutched) in one's hand
is often described as a Clutch. A larger Purse with two handles, is often called a Tote.
A Pocketbook is similar to a Purse (in the British English sense), but allows the carrying of
sheets of paper as well. Purses are also made-up of zari, sterling silver, leather, cloth etc.

A security Purse is the best thing to protect styles-a person's belongings from travel theft.
The purse takes advantage of an invisible stainless steal strap built into the material and a top
on the main zipper.
Some different handbag types are :
Hobo: Hobo bags are made out of soft, flexible materials and tend to slump, or slouch, when set
down.
Satchel: Many students use them at universities and colleges. Many people claim it can affect
the growth of the wearer, but this hasn't been proven.

The Duffle: A large bag ordinarily used for travel or sports, The Shopper, and The Cross
body.
